For those that cant remember, Ive got a 100litre tank, and started off with a load of bad fish - bad as in unsuitable - that had to go back to the lfs. I then got 10 Harlies, followed by 4herry barbs, 1 BN.

I dont know if I have room for much more but I was thinking of getting a few shrimp. Are they fairly easy to keep and which ones would be best for this size tank?

Thats what I was hoping to get a bit of info on GD. I dont know anything about shrimp, but just thought they would make a good addition to the tank coz I dont think I can have any more fish in there.

Do they reproduce by the way?

They do reproduce but it isnt easy to get them to last long!! I would go for a few more than 2 (maybe 5-10) as they will be more secure Very Happy (I am not aware that they need special feeding?)

I got Cherry shrimp which are great little shrimp, very colourful. A couple of things to think of with them. Dont put them in the tank straight away. Thye will do better if you have them in a spare tank for a while until they grow in size, otherwise they will end up as lunch.

The other thing is that they are VERY good at hiding, and a few times I thought they had all died only for them to pop up somewherre in the tank the next day!

I have both Amano and Fan Shrimp and I think that the Amano species would do better in a tank that size. They're quite active especially at feeding time and it's quite fun to watch them doing a lightning strike to steal the fish food...
