I picked up some of these lovely little Killifish yesterday - one male and three females AFAIK. They're hard enough to photograph so here's the best of a bad lot. Try to ignore the disgraceful accumulation of green spot algae on the front glass... Embarassed

Green Spot fluff = zero phosphate

any phosphate = zero no hard to remove green spot Very Happy but lots of other more prolific fluff Rolling Eyes I dont think were supposed to win this particular game Very Happy

I like the look of killifish but suspect most of my other fish would too if you know what I mean Very Happy

I only have the brwon slime type now - it seems to love the inside of the filter tubing - front glass gets it but a fine film and the otos and garras seem to like it so for the most part - i dont have to clean the front glass much - any green tufty stuff is scoffed by the barbs or the BN's Very Happy

I think its time mary posted an upto date stock list Wink

Good photo's Mary and nice little fish. Dont worry about the green spots - you dont notice them that much till you put them on a photo anyway Smile

Thanks guys. Smile

Actually Rich, my phosphate measures between 1 and 2, depending on the tank.

mine is 3+ out of the tap - when i usaed rowaphos it went to zero - then I had the hardest algea ive ever coe across in terms of getting rid - the dreaded pea spot stuff and it even resisted the stanley knife blade Surprised

My current thinking is goven a couple of years (18months or so) everything sorts itself out to a happy medium
