PostSubject: Children & Fish Tanks   Mon Mar 15, 2010 1:13 am

Yesterday evening, I heard an almighty thud from the playroom followed by a screaming howl from my 7 year old who had run in to get something, tripped and bashed his head off the tank...Shocked

Is it very wrong that my first concern was to rush and check the tank and not his head? silent

Never thought about there being a danger with kids and tanks Mary.

think the only thing to do is to keep your kids out of the house in future - the weather's getting warmer now anyway so no harm done

Thats exactly what I was thinking...great idea Fishface, infact you could build a garden hut and stick them all in there (electricity, hot and cold etc etc) its just to risky having all them kids charging around the house when there's all these tanks lieing around.

I'd say its your call Mrs T..........Kids or Fish whats it to be ?

its cheaper to replace a child than it is a fishtank - besides, we all know kids bounce and cosmetic urgery is quite good these days Very Happy

Im sure the shock n shame hurt more than the injuries Wink maybe (just maybe) theyll learn to be more careful next time

least they didnt pull the plugs out to charge a console again Very Happy

Yes, I remember that all too well! Shocked

Well, a few days on, I'm happy to report that there's no sign of damage to the tank...oh, and Matthew's head is fine again also. Very Happy
